Sony FE 1.4x Teleconverter

Extending the effective focal length of select Sony E-mount telephoto lenses, the FE 1.4x Teleconverter increases the lens's magnification by 1.4x for a narrower field of view. It gives you 98mm – 280mm F4. You only lose a stop of light. This is awesome because it gives you that extra reach you need. Also, if you it in APS-C it will give you a maximum of 420mm. Even more ridiculous if you only shoot in JPEG you can do a 2x Clear Image Zoom and gets you an incredible 840mm with a 18MP image or 42MP image without putting it in APS-C with 560mm reach. All in the body of a 70-200 F2.8 GM.

The dedicated design maintains full communication between the lens and E-mount mirrorless cameras, including auto-exposure metering, autofocus, and Optical SteadyShot image stabilization. Additionally, this teleconverter also features a dust- and moisture-resistant construction, matching the lens, to benefit working in harsh environmental conditions.

The Lone Sailor

This was a project that was truly dear to me. I wanted to recreate the iconic Sailor Statue with my own twist. I have to tell you, that day was probably the coldest and wettest day this winter. I did it along side of the shedd aquarium over looking the famous Chicago Skyline. That day it was dark, gloomy and the water that was splashing on the dock was hitting with so much power because of the wind (was exceeding 35 m.p.h.) my shoes and socks was completely soaked. It took my feet like 40 min to thaw. I had an awesome time with this shoot. The Black & White portraits came out perfect! Special thanks to DM Photography. She was awesome!
